The Couch to 25 Miles Plan
If you are trying to start exercising and want to use cycling as the door opener to a new, fitter you. We've drawn up a simple plan to help you get there. This one is free, it's a lead-in to our regular services. Hopefully you'll find the plan helpful and start a love-affair with your bike!
You can use the plan on any type of bicycle you own and on any medium (road/trail/bike path/trainer) you desire.
As always is the case with any fitness plan, undertaking it is entirely on your decision. Cycling can have some inherent risk if you have health issues not to mention the risk that comes with riding your bike on roads with cars. If you are at all worried about riding on the road seek out your local bike path or a cycling club/group to ride with. After you check with your Doctor about your ability to use this plan. All liability rests with the rider and none with us here at Over The Summit Coaching.
Now that the legalize is out of the way...get your doctor's permission to exercise, ride at your own pace and most of all have an absolute blast on your bike! Cycling is like being a kid all over again, small while you ride and always enjoy yourself!
